With a top-notch faculty and student roster, we offer a world-class environment for learning and research where professors know the students by name and students begin research early, learning cutting-edge advances from the very people who discovered them. We currently have approximately 1500 undergraduate and 60 graduate students. The Department of Computer Science is preparing students to work in all areas of industry, research, and academia. We continuously improve our curriculum and student support services to ensure our students are ready to meet any challenges presented when they embark on their career. We are a diverse department that fosters innovation, creativity, and experimentation. The faculty consists of 19 tenure-track and 8 career-track members. The Department is growing and continues to seek dynamic faculty and graduate students that can contribute to the research and teaching missions of the University.
