Midwest Writing Center is the only organization in the Quad Cities dedicated solely to the literary arts. It’s managed by a 13-member board of directors and hosts numerous events and programs, including the David R Collins Writers Conference, Iron Pen Contest, Young Emerging Writers Internship and Middle School Camp, Children’s Literature Festival, SPECTRA Poetry Reading Series, and many other contests, workshops, reading, and book signing events.
