The conception of Robertson Forwarding Company came from the entrepreneurial spirits of Al and Joan Robertson. In 1968 the couple incorporated Robertson Forwarding Company in New York to fill a void in the field of international distribution. In the early 1990’s Joan Robertson recognized a need to make a strategic change to keep RFC on the cutting edge of the global logistics field; Hence in 1992 RFC opened its doors in the emerging port of Miami, FL. "I witnessed the change in the economic landscape of the import/export business and the rapid development of US distribution from the South Florida area.
