Superior Academy of Music is a music school in Miami that provides exceptional music education consisting of private lessons in piano, jazz piano, guitar, violin, voice, cello, flute as well as group musicianship classes consisting of music theory, ear training, and music history. Our faculty is comprised of highly experienced teachers with masters and doctoral degrees in music, who are also active and renowned performers at the national and international levels. We offer a unique and comprehensive music curriculum. Through periodic recitals and national assessment opportunities, SAM's program provides the in-depth musical skills and professional mentorship to its students, whether they are applying to performing arts magnet schools, aspiring professional musicians planning to study music at university, or general music students. SAM students can receive private lessons in professional sound-attenuated music booths. Our high-tech musicianship classroom includes an interactive whiteboard and projector for the ultimate music learning experience. SAM’s students have been accepted into prestigious Universities including Berklee College of Music in Boston, University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, and Florida State University College of Music. SAM's students have also received Center and State Certificate of Excellence for obtaining the top marks at the local and state levels in their assessments from the Music Development Program. SAM has been featured twice on National Television (PBS) and in several newspapers.
