Crescent Park Child Development Center is an early education program that is committed to providing high quality preschool experiences for young children between the ages of two through five years. Crescent Park is located in Palo Alto, California and is a developmental, play-based program founded on the belief that children are competent, capable and self-motivated learners. Throughout the day, children are given the autonomy to make their own choices and explore inviting activities either indoors or out, within a multi-aged mix of children. This enriching environment is inspired by a constructivist, developmental philosophy and by the schools of Reggio Emilia where relationships with peers, teachers and community serve to deepen the child’s understanding of the world and optimizes their ability to construct their own knowledge. Our values and beliefs keep our work focused and authentic.
