Intercede, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to empower individuals to act in response to an opioid overdose through education and training. Using a project-based approach, Intercede, Inc. has identified key impact areas where its mission will be most impactful: * Intercede’s Cause of Action project educates lawyers and law firms on causes and symptoms of opioid addiction, and prepare individuals to react in the event of an opioid overdose. * Intercede, Inc.’s Move the Needle project educates business leaders about the economic and social impact the opioid epidemic has on businesses. * The Raise Up Shepherds project, through Intercede’s certified REVIVE! trainers, provides training to clergy and church administrators on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of naloxone. * Intercede, Inc.’s Training Partner project is a lending program of training aids for REVIVE! certified lay rescuer trainers. Intercede, Inc. was founded by Jeremy R. Moss (jeremy@intercedeonline.org) and is based in Norfolk, Virginia.
