VXA is a 501(c)3 non-profit formed by combat veterans to support other combat veterans when they return home from deployments overseas. VXA utilizes adventure therapy in the form of hunting, fishing, or other outdoor activities to connect. We pair each warrior with a likeminded individual who has successfully completed the transition into civilian life. VXA uses the ACT model that consists of Adventure Camaraderie Therapy. The mission is to help these veterans rediscover their purpose, and have someone walk with them who can relate to their struggles. The mission field for VXA is the greater Dallas Fort Worth area. We strongly believe that through establishing strong connections with local organizations, businesses, and veterans we can make a significant impact in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much!
