Our nonprofit founded and annually organizes the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance in collaboration with the 9/11 community. Our mission for the 20th anniversary of 9/11 is to inspire millions of Americans and others to rekindle the remarkable spirit of unity and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, and to perform good deeds and other acts of service in tribute to those killed and injured, and those who bravely rose in service in response to the attacks.
