Peculiar Press is an Oxford-based independent publishing house. We believe in the power of storytelling, multilingualism, and inclusivity in children’s literature. Our goal is to create a beautiful and safe space for all the peculiar, bilingual, and curious children who find themselves in need of entertaining literature. Our first series of books displays parallel texts in Spanish and English, whilst giving an empowering twist to traditional tales. But this is just the beginning! We are looking for talented young authors and illustrators from far and beyond, to bring to life stories in a multitude of languages for children all over the world.
