MIT School of Distance Education (MITSDE) is a part of MAEER's, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) which has more than 36 institutions educating over 55000 students annually. Students can begin whenever they like and take 1.5 times the time of a classroom program to complete the course. MITSDE uses Learning Management System (LMS) developed by Boston Group, USA. This facilitates distance education by way of providing round-the-clock back-up, knowledge assessment, instructor guidance and certification. MIT offers more than 18 courses & about 90 certificate courses via e learning.
