North American BioFuels is a renewable energy company which produces electricity from landfill methane for sale to third parties, and delivers landfill methane to end users for employment in their industrial processes. North American currently owns and operates electric generating stations and a landfill gas compression station in Michigan and Kentucky. North American defines Renewable Energy as the creation of a primary source of energy, namely electricity, without the use of another primary source of energy, like coal, natural gas, or other hydrocarbons to do so. The substitution of landfill methane for other hydrocarbons-like natural gas is renewable.
