We are a small and family-oriented country prep school in South Somerset, offering day and boarding places for children aged 3-13. We provide an outstanding all-round education and are proud of our consistently impressive results at Common Entrance as well as our enviable scholarship record, with 84 awards over the past five years. We take the business of preparation for senior schools very seriously and our children move on to some of the country’s leading senior schools, including Bryanston, Canford, Sherborne, Sherborne Girls, Radley, Harrow, Millfield, King’s Bruton, Taunton School, King's College Taunton and Queen's College Taunton. We have an excellent track record with external visitors and a high profile within the sector. We are the current holders of Pre-Prep of the Year 2019 and were recently named as a winner at the BSA (Boarding Schools' Association) Awards 2020 for Supporting Junior Boarders. We are also one of seven finalists for Prep School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2020 and are one of only a handful of prep schools across the country to feature in upcoming IAPS and ITN Productions documentary 'Prepping for the Future', designed to showcase the very best in prep school education.
