CultureMix Arts is a not for profit company promoting creativity, training and realistic employment opportunities in the creative sector. The company is based at the CultureMix Arts & Music Centre, Queens Walk, Reading. CultureMix Arts is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (ACE NPO) and the home of RASPO Steel Orchestra, Reading Reggae Collective and the Creative Business Hub. The company specialises in carnival culture, education, entertainment and training with a focus on steel pan music development. Our mission is to connect cultures through creativity, and widely promote and raise awareness of the benefits of participation African Caribbean culture through carnival arts and music by encouraging access, education services to schools, professional development, employment and entertainment locally, nationally and internationally.
