What We Do PCS provides highly specialized evaluations and expert testimony in cases that are court-involved or have the potential for involvement in adversarial proceedings. Expert testimony is provided in both civil and criminal proceedings. PCS offers an extensive array of assessments such as competency and criminal responsibility, civil commitment, custody and visitation, fitness for duty, pre-employment screening, neuropsychological evaluation, guardianship and parental fitness, sexual dangerousness, risk assessment for violence, and specialized assessments of the elderly and cognitively-impaired individuals. We also provide consultation to attorneys, courts, schools and colleges, day and residential treatment programs, inpatient psychiatry services, corrections and law enforcement, particularly on difficult or challenging cases. All of the services available from PCS can be tailored to specific situations, and we will work with you from the start to set realistic goals, budgets, and schedules.
