The Queen's University Investment Counsel (QUIC) is Canada's premier student-run asset management organization. Consisting of 35 undergraduate students in the School of Business, QUIC manages a ~$2,100,000 equity portfolio for the Queen's Endowment Fund, striving to outperform the market with managed risk. In addition to providing hands-on learning in asset management, they also conduct a number of activities throughout the year to further education in the field of finance at Queen's. Past events have included interview preparation workshops, hosting guest speakers, conducting tutorials in beginner finance courses, and providing a stock market simulation for high school students.
