Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Best Buddies in North Carolina state office was founded in 2017. Since then we have grown to include 40 school programs including Elementary, Middle School, High School and College. In 2020, North Carolina added the Citizens program and has matched our first pairs!
