By focusing on gender equality, couple communication, scale-up of innovations, building country led capacity, fertility awareness, reaching very young adolescents, and going directly to consumers, IRH strengthens quality sexual and reproductive health services and mobilizes youth, women, men, and other stakeholders to engage in these important health issues. Through partnership with international and local organizations, we strive to: expand family planning choices to meet the needs of women and men worldwide; advance gender equality by helping women and men across the lifecycle learn about and take charge of their reproductive health; and involve communities in reproductive health interventions that improve well-being.
