1066 Country is a public / private partnership responsible for promoting the towns of Battle, Rye, Bexhill, Pevensey, Bexhill and the surrounding area. The partnership body was one of Britain's very first Destination Marketing Partnerships (DMP/DMOs). Today the 1066 Country brand continues to be developed, and the organisation is finding ew ways to sustain and enhance its appeal, and to provide a continuous platform for businesses to work together. The partnership is directed by an Executive Board.
