Freedom4girls Uk
www.freedom4girls.co.ukFreedom4Girls are a UK-registered charity fighting against period poverty. Awarded the Queens Award for Volunteering 2021 with special recognition for COVID response work. #QAVS We work to support those who menstruate by challenging the stigmas, taboos and gender inequalities associated with menstruation. We do this by providing education, providing period products, promoting product choice and supporting environmentally and financially sustainable options. Period poverty affects millions of women and girls worldwide, who struggle to afford or access safe menstrual protection. The economic, social and environmental impacts of period poverty are huge, with many of those affected missing out on education and job opportunities simply due to their periods. We envisage a world in which no girl or woman suffers from period poverty or stigma associated with their periods. No girl should miss school because she is on her period. No woman should be forced to miss work because she is on her period. Please help us end period poverty, together!
