Sound safety practices are both socially responsible and good business, leading to increased productivity, a better reputation and higher employee satisfaction. ASSP has been promoting Health and Safety since 1990. Designed to provide professional development and financial resources to qualified individuals, the Foundation seeks to advance safety and health development, research and education in the public interest. Bakersfield has joined the effort with its own chapter.
