S. B. Cox Ready-Mix, Inc. was created from a division of S.B.Cox, Inc., a name recognized in the construction industry in Richmond for over 50 years. Since our doors opened in 1996, we are proud to provide our customers with quality concrete products and service. Each of our eight concrete plants are VDOT & NRMCA certified. We have ACI certified technicians who can specify the right concrete product for your job and advise you on how to get the optimum performance from our products. We have four concrete plants that serve the Richmond area: Powhatan, Goochland, Sandston & Doswell, two concrete plants located in Prince Edward & Nottoway counties, one concrete plant located in Isle of Wight county and most recently added, a concrete plant located in Suffolk county. With a total of eight concrete plants we can efficiently service any size job, both commercial and residential, in the Richmond metro area & surrounding counties. In addition to concrete, S.B. Cox Ready-Mix, Inc. opened the first stone yard location in 2002. Now with one stone yard located in Smithfield at our retail store, Farmers Service Company and two stone yard locations to serve the Richmond area, we offer a variety of landscaping products and delivery to your home or jobsite.
