Vives y Marí is one of the most relevant textile enterprises in Spain and amongst the most important in the production of silk fabrics specific to Valencian regional clothing. Luis Vives and José Marí started up with a small enterprise in the Fifties, and gradually transformed it into today's market leader by adding to their team Manuel Aznar, Vicente Bayot and Jaime García, thus assembling a full team of professionals. Since 1973, Vives y Marí implements its production by creating the most refined fabrics used in the production of regional clothing of the Valencian Community, and since 1999 by reviving the production of the most valued "Espolines". The company, whose excellent craftsmanship skills granted it the prestigious Valencian Board of Trade 2010 Craftsmanship prize, is a reference in the market revolving around the "Fallas", the yearly worldwide-renown event celebrated in the city, as well as in the rest of Spain.
