Cameroon Catalyst is an international development charity focused on promoting sustainable community led infrastructure in East Cameroon. Since 2009, the charity has brought together students, engineers and specialists to design and fundraise for the delivery of 5 projects in the village of Bambouti ; we've delivered a medical centre, apprenticeship workshop, school, solar power hub and housing. More recently, Cameroon Catalyst has delivered clean water for over 1000 people in line with the charity's new 5 year business plan focusing on WaSH. Our vision: to act as a driver for development towards a sustainable future for rural communities in Cameroon. Our mission: to be the catalyst for sustainable change in rural Cameroon, by empowering the local community through developing skills, infrastructure improvements, support and collaboration.
