We support small businesses and entrepreneurs looking to start new businesses with flexible loan programs, business development grants and business counselling services. Since 1985, Community Futures Peterborough has invested $27 million in more than 700 new or existing businesses in the City and County of Peterborough. Community Futures Peterborough is a community-based, not-for-profit corporation (incorporated as the Greater Peterborough Business Development Centre, Inc.) governed by 16 local volunteer board of directors familiar with local business needs, concerns and future development priorities. All financing decisions (loans & grants) are made locally by our Board of Directors.
