Investment strategy : Capstone is specialized in acquiring real estate companies. Our approach consists in avoiding any form of speculation. We buy with the intention to hold “forever”. This approach ensures that we only invest when we see an appropriate margin of safety. In selecting our investments we give top priority to the quality of the location and its capacity for redevelopment at end of the building’s useful life. Our second major criterion for judging the appropriateness of an investment is the quality and the permanence on site of the tenant(s). This long term holding approach means that our strategy is not dictated by market fluctuations or a need to sell assets on a regular basis in order to generate cash flow. Our business model is largely uncorrelated to the wider real estate investment market.
