Freedom Cement, LLC was started to provide historically accurate materials to restoration contractors. In 2010 Freedom Cement resumed production of natural cement from Rosendale, New York. We currently produce natural cement from the Lawrence mine in Rosendale. Freedom cement is the only supplier that publicly declares its natural cement rock is mined in Rosendale, NY, and has full control of the production and distribution of natural cement from Rosendale, NY. The following is a list of historic projects that Freedom Cement provided material for: Fort Jefferson, Fort Adams, Fort Washington, Fort Pickens, Fort Jackson, Monticello, Poplar Forest, Blair House, Royal Orchard, Newport Country Club, Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian House at Florida Southern University, High Bridge NY and many others. In an effort to expand our range of services to the architectural community, in 2016 Freedom Cement began the production of Microcotta in their North Brookfield facility.
