We have been providing award-winning construction and development services to the Washington, DC area for more than 25 years. Our projects range in size and complexity from complete residential renovations to single-family home construction and, beginning in 2015, multi-residential condominium design, construction and sales. Washington Landmark’s rehabilitation and historic renovation of the Gymnasium at National Park Seminary in Silver Spring received a Montgomery County Design Excellence Award Jury Citation in 2017. The renovation resulted in "a beautifully and cleverly designed set of unique condominium residences,” said the jurors. “The apartments fit into the rafters as naturally as if that was their intended use. This gymnasium has been brought back to life in a useful and dignified manner.” All 12 units were sold at above market prices for the area. The WLC team is now preparing to begin work on another historic renovation, that of the Power Plant, Music Practice Hall and Fire Station at the NPS site.
