Love 101 Ministries
www.love101ministries.comThere is a more excellent way. Love is a practice. What exactly is the love practice? It’s how we love considering the human condition. “We are born insecure, egocentric, fearful. We need to be taught to become secure, unselfish, courageous.” (A.R. Bernard Sermon) The practice is a framework to navigate the complexity of relationship honestly, faithfully, humbly, authentically and vulnerably. It is rooted in awareness, examination, reflection, reconciliation and restart. If I “have never learned to love, then I am nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:2 TPT) Life has been our classroom, we are the students and we have had a multitude of teachers. Jungian scholar, J Pittman McGehee says it succinctly: “So much of what we call love isn’t; but rather it is neurotic projections, exploitations, manipulations and abuses.” Suffice it to say, for many of us we have been mis-educated about love. This is why we practice. As humble students the call is to re-examine and re-learn what love REALLY is so we can reflect it in our lifestyle. It’s about changing the way we think and increasing our capacity to love, thereby transforming the way we love so we can live meaningful lives. The Call to Love: 21 Days to Cultivating Your Love Practice is our signature spiritual growth program. The goal is “a deeper and more holistic connection between who we are (our being), what we believe (our theology) and how we live (our practice).
