We put students first, creating solutions that empower them to pursue the opportunities they deserve. OUR STORY We’re college grads making the tools we wish we had before we started college. It all started when founder Vipul Patel transferred to Boston University and discovered he had a semester of credits that couldn’t transfer. Rather than spending over $18,000 retaking courses, Vipul wrote a course-matching algorithm (hello, computer science major!) to prove that his courses were equivalent. The tool was so effective that he successfully appealed BU’s original decision and helped other transfer students save thousands of dollars. A few years later — backed by seasoned investors and advisors and during a global pandemic — Tasseled was born. We’re excited to roll up our sleeves to make college education more accessible and affordable for all students.
