We are the iGEM team representing King's College London. We strive to better the world and to provide solutions for a range of global issues using Synthetic Biology and genetic engineering. This is a highly prestigious competition and has lead to the formation of more than 100 biotechnology start-ups that have made immense progress in bettering our world. Although we are still a young team, we have made significant strides and have brought home two silver medals, a gold medal, the trophy for the best overgraduate therapeutics project and nominations for the best model and best supporting entrepreneurship. To be a part of iGEM is to not only advance your skills in the lab but grow as a bioethicist, programmer, and open-minded individual.
