We are Hunter business leaders who are committed to diversity and achieving a more equitable and inclusive society. Our Objectives • champion equity and diversity including with respect to gender, Indigenous background, cultural background, religion or faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability status and other groups of individuals who have been historically disadvantaged or underrepresented in leadership or underrepresented in the labour market,  • promote discussion about diversity and inclusion between representatives of Australian business, governments, educational institutions and members of the community, • engage organisations, Government and community leaders to build and maintain inclusive cultures where diversity is respected and valued, advocate for safe and welcoming environments at work and in the community, where people can live, work and thrive free from prejudice and discrimination,  • raise awareness of inequality and discrimination in our workplaces, homes and community, and the societal, human and financial cost associated with this inequality and discrimination, promote the benefits of diversity and inclusion so more workplaces and communities recognise, embrace and celebrate all aspects and benefits of diversity, • inspire greater action and desire for societal change conducive to the promotion of diversity and inclusion in workplaces and in leadership positions,  • encourage organisations to ensure leadership teams and positions reflect the diversity of society, and • raise funds to support and deliver activities which align to the objects of the association, either directly or via partners and other groups or individuals with aligned goals.
