The Zuidas municipal organisation is responsible for developing the Zuidas area. Its brief from the Amsterdam City Council is to develop a mixed city district with a unique character. What’s more, we started the most ambitious building operation in the area’s history: Zuidasdok. This infrastructure project at the heart of Zuidas will bring the A10 motorway underground and widen the highway from four to six lanes. Above ground, there will be a completely new Amsterdam Zuid station, a terminal for all of the public transport and a completely re-landscaped green station area.
