The Odd Gumnut is a Permaculture farm in the beautiful Sahyadri mountains of Western India. Our mission is to empower you to leave the conventional and see what else is possible! Besides nourishing the land that feeds us, we actively educate others on the ways of Permaculture and all things 'radical self reliance' via farm tours, farm to table dining experiences, and in-person and online workshops. Additionally, The Odd Gumnut is the parent organization of one of India's first kombucha brands Rise Up Kombucha and the co-founders of the area's first organic farmers' market Redstone Organic Market. We are hosts to international volunteers from all over the world, exploring a diversity of heirloom seeds, natural building and natural farming techniques.
