It starts as a mole or freckle. Caught early, it is easily treated. Early detection saves lives, so annual mole checks by the experts makes sense. Since launch in 2003, we have screened around 100,000 people and detected an estimated 1000 melanomas – almost all of which are early and therefore easily treated. We offer two main services: MOLECheck™ is our popular 'head to toe' screening of all your moles and freckles by a specialist nurse. This check offers most people welcome reassurance. For those with a suspect mole or freckle, this can be quickly diagnosed by a specialist doctor with our TELEDerm® service. MOLECheck™ takes up to 45 minutes and costs £145. TELEDerm® is our award winning specialist dermoscopic diagnostic service - recommended for a mole or freckle which is new or changing or otherwise suspect . A specialist nurse will photograph your mole or freckle with a dermatoscope for remote diagnosis by a specialist doctor within just 3 days - and most reports are available the next day. TELEDerm® takes 10 minutes and costs £50 for one diagnosis and £30 for additional diagnosis. We won the Patient Safety Award in 2010.
