The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that provides financial grants for pets in need of life-saving veterinary care. FACE partners with over 186 veterinary hospitals throughout San Diego County to make emergency veterinary care accessible for low income pet owners. FACE relies solely on donations to continue its mission of providing access to life saving veterinary care and to enhance and preserve the quality of life of companion animals by providing access to necessary medical care and education. Since its inception in 2006, FACE has directly saved the lives of over 3,000 family pets, and continues to prevent "economic euthanasia" in San Diego.
