Anyway ... ahem ... about us: Writing is hard—especially when you spend your best energy helping students or patients, helping your institution function and fulfill its mission. We created the Academic Writers Studio because we believe that the people academia most needs are often the people who struggle most to produce the scholarship required for tenure and promotion. Writing takes time, space, confidence, feedback, advice, and support. That’s where we come in. Our flagship offering is the year-long Studio Scholars program, a community of shared inspiration and purpose where scholars are supported and mentored by academic writing professionals. AWS also offers à la carte editing, coaching, and other programs. We’re here to nurture your scholarly practice. You have a vision, and we want to help you cultivate and express that vision in your own clear, compelling voice.
