TDI is a national charity founded in 1993 to improve public protection by finding practical and creative solutions to the problem of sexual offending. We work with a wide range of organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors, including the police, the probation service, prisons, housing organisations, faith-based organisations, public transport organisations, sports clubs, sports facilities, leisure centres, hotels, schools, shopping centres, libraries, early years settings, community centres, cultural venues, tourist attractions and museums. Our goals: Safer individuals, safer public spaces, protective communities* and better systems of thinking. *TDI is commited to finding constructive roles for members of the public (ie those not working in the justice system).
