Our History Ciret Ltd part of the Storch-Ciret Group, Europe’s number one painting and decorating tool manufacturer. We were established in 1961 as Homekey Limited, initially supplying top quality brushes throughout the south of England. From it’s Portsmouth base, the business expanded to become an established supplier to decorators, builders merchants and independent hardware stores. In 2005 we moved to our present location in Havant and during the same year were acquired by the Ciret group. In 2011 Ciret Holdings merged with Storch Holdings GmbH to form Storch-Ciret Holdings GmbH with its head office still in Wuppertal, where it all started over 125 years ago. Today the group operates in 17 countries with over 1,400 employees. Wilhelm Greten’s grandson is still a significant part of the business as one of the board of advisers, driving the business to maintain its number one position as Europe’s leading painting and decorating tool manufacturer.
