JETAA is a voluntary global organisation that provides a network for the alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. We help promote the programme and its aims and continue to support Australian-Japanese relations. JETAA NSW is one of the five JETAA chapters in Australia, and with the three chapters in New Zealand, make up the JETAA Oceania region. JETAA NSW's mission is: - To provide assistance, advice and a support network to former participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme in Australia, - To promote cultural understanding between the peoples of Australia and Japan. - The encouragement of the JET Programme and similar educational exchanges between Australia and Japan.
