Impeller is a social enterprise established by Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service (TWFRS) in 2015, operating independently of but in close collaboration with TWFRS from their HQ in Washington. Through this partnership we market the skills, experience, expertise and world class facilities of the Service to both the public and private sector in the UK and abroad. Our profits are invested back into community safety projects to better protect the local communities of Tyne and Wear through our charity, the Impeller Foundation.
