Ascento Medical is a company in the field of Dementia and Alzheimer’s treatment & prevention, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to optimize a proven treatment method. Currently, no treatment exists for those diseases and patients suffer a constant mental and social decline, affecting their care-givers and close family quality of life. There are currently around 50 million patients, with close to 10 million new cases every year, according to WHO. The suffering for patients, the cost for the family - and society in general, are enormous. Over the past few years, several thousand patients have been treated by the use of a diagnosis- and treatment method, developed by Prof. Eli Wertman, a behavioral-neurologist of the Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. With the objective to upsacle the use of the method, we are now developing an Artificial Intelligence Powered solution, based on key information extracted from hundreds of medical files of previously treated patients. This will allow an advanced solution, to which clinicians can connect, which will generate personalized treatment programs, targeted to cope with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
