The Association of Sporting Goods Producers and Sport Equipments in Austria (VSSÖ) is a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting the reputation of the sports industry and representing the interests of the members both nationally and internationally. The VSSÖ is thus the central platform in the Austrian sport to cooperate with the sports trade and the sports industry as a whole. The areas of competence of the VSSÖ include the preservation of common interests in front of official national and international committees, the establishment or promotion of contact with similar organizations in Germany and abroad, the holding of specialized exhibitions, the establishment of an information service for members, the conceptual development of educational opportunities for members and also the formation of working groups that promote sport.
