The Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Corps (Cap Corps) is a year-long, post-graduate volunteer program located in Cleveland, OH and Washington, DC. Cap Corps Volunteers work full time in education, healthcare, or social service positions, and live a simple lifestyle in community with other volunteers. The program is sponsored by the Capuchin Franciscan Friars who provide support through weekly community nights, spiritual direction, retreats, and fellowship. Mission Statement: The Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Corps (Cap Corps) offers men and women the opportunity to work in direct service with the poor while living a simple lifestyle in community with other volunteers. The spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi is central to this experience of community and service.
