Global Care Force connects medical and non-medical volunteers with organizations serving people in need. Global Care Force emerged from COVID Care Force, a nonprofit formed in 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic to send volunteer health care professionals to COVID-19 hotspots in overwhelmed and under-resourced communities across the U.S. and Mexico. A disproportionate amount of communities struggled to provide adequate care before the pandemic hit. Global Care Force carries on the mission of COVID Care Force, partnering with underserved communities committed to caring for people in need. Global Care Force and COVID Care Force were founded by Dr. Gary Morsch, an emergency medicine physician who has dedicated his life to volunteer service.
