We envision a workforce with gender pay and promotion equity. Currently, women make roughly 83 cents on the dollar which means they - and their families - are being shortchanged up to $2M over their career lifetime . There are many reasons for pay inequity but one of them is women’s reluctance to negotiate which is firmly within our power to correct. Until There Are Nine® supports women as they negotiate their worth in the workforce, by combining the collective experience of the network with our proprietary Playbook and mentor system of Advisor and Apprentice. We Drive Change by Educating, Guiding and Supporting Women to: · Identify and communicate their skill sets · Quantify the value of their contributions · Realize and negotiate their worth · Advocate for equitable career progression OUR NAME'S MEANING Inspired by the foremost champion of equity, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was often asked how many women justices would be considered enough on the Supreme Court. Her response was “when there are nine” because there had always been nine men and no one ever questioned that! Nine = Equity. One by One, We Get to Nine.
