Our Mission The Orange County Chamber of Commerce leads the way creating and supporting an environment in which business will succeed and the quality of life is enhanced. With nearly 1,200 members, the Orange County Chamber is the leading supporter of business in the Hudson Valley region. Legislative advocacy, pro-active referrals, extensive member services, networking opportunities, seminars, special events and more make the Orange County Chamber one of the best business investments in the Hudson Valley. Free business counseling, mentorship programs, and affordable health insurance are also available through the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. Today’s Orange County Chamber of Commerce was created in 1997 by the consolidation of the two largest chambers of commerce in Orange County. Both predecessor chambers had a 100-year history of service to the business community prior to that time. The vast majority of Chamber members (approximately 75%) are businesses with fewer than five employees. More than a dozen committees, chaired by Chamber members, work with Chamber staff to provide resources for members, as well as plan and carry out Chamber events, programs, and services.
