Casa Alianza Switzerland was founded on December 3rd, 1997 in Geneva, to support the actions in favor of street children undertaken by the four programs of Casa Alianza in Latin America. The association was founded by a Genevan who volunteered as a street educator in Honduras and who also contributed to the opening of the Nicaragua program in 1998. With his network of student friends, he initiated the creation of Casa Alianza Switzerland, in order to financially support the field programs. Today, the actions of Casa Alianza Switzerland are concentrated around four poles : - fundraising - awareness raising (communication, events etc.) - representation to international organizations - facilitation of volunteer recruitment to go on site and coordination of volunteers in Switzerland
