At Pharmasonica, we've developed an ultrasound triggered drug delivery system targeting cancerous tumours within cancer patients. This capsular device can modulate the amount of drug administered through exogenous mechanisms, to remain non-invasive. In doing so, the drug concentration within the tumour stays within the therapeutic window to remain effective yet avoid many of the side effects that cancer patients often experience.
