Specialising in evidence-based preventative approaches to health and wellbeing, The Live Well Centre (TLWC) is a five-floor, multi-functional venue that aims to holistically meet the needs of those with low-to-moderate wellbeing issues. TLWC has been designed to provide unique, innovative and diverse wellbeing space that accommodates a wide-range of services under one roof. The venue is supported by a person-centric operational ethos – ensuring processes, services and staff, work collaboratively with the customer to identify short and long-term solutions to make positive and impactful changes to their health and wellbeing. TLWC works to address these issues, by: • Raising the profile of prevention across the borough; • Integrating and co-locating a wide-range of provisions across the life-course, recognising that adverse health behaviours, life challenges and poor wellbeing outcomes do not occur in isolation; • Improving access to preventative services and delivering services that are co-designed and co-produced with service users; • Developing commercial skills that are informed by insight from a booming wellbeing sector; • Building sustainable community capacity to increase long-term resilience and efficacy; • Wrapping a digital offer around everything we do; • Moving away from a unilateral reliance on top-down grant funding to sustain services.
