Rumis Cave
www.rumis.orgUlfa Aid is a U.K based charity initially set up to combat poverty and support those who have been displaced from their homes and natural disasters worldwide. In 2011, Ulfa Aid started its U.K. domestic programs under the name of Rumi’s Cave. Since then, Rumi’s Cave has developed into a vibrant and diverse community space offering events, programs and opportunities for social, cultural growth and community engagement. One such engagement program is Rumi’s kitchen- a weekly run initiative supporting the socially isolated, vulnerable and individuals looking for that sense of community. We firmly believe in opening our doors to the wider community, in assisting those people on our doorsteps who need help. Our neighbours; those who we know or do not know. Those who share the same faith as us, and those that don't. As an organisation we aim to unite the community and inspire people to help one another. Here, we offer an eclectic mix of programs and events, ranging from poetry and music nights, to afternoon tea, and a variety of talks, courses and creative workshops, attracting an eclectic audience who come from various religious and cultural backgrounds. Do check our website rumis.org for the latest information and to sign up to our mailing lists fb.me/RumisKitchen • Instagram & Twitter: @RumisKitchenUK info@rumis.org for any enquiries
